County Competitions Day is on Sunday 4th February at Lady Manners School, Bakewell when the following competitions will take place:
Junior Reading – entries required by 22nd January the book to be used is Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince by J K Rowling (ISBN 0-7475-8108-8)
Junior Speaking – entries required by 22nd January (following regional eliminator)
Junior Member of the Year – synopsis form required by 22nd January
Intermediate Just a Minute – entries required by 22nd January
Intermediate Situation Vacant – job advert, cv and covering letter required by 22nd January via email to County Office
Debating – draw hopefully out tomorrow!

Please can you remind members that I will not be dealing with any questions regarding EMA weekend over Facebook. In the last few days I’ve have members requesting to be my friend on my personal Facebook and sending me facebook messages about tickets and the booking process. Blackpool 2018
Booking details for the Entertainment Packages will be sent directly to club secretaries this week and copies included in the weekly update next week, this is to avoid any confusion with the Cleethorpes details. Clubs will also receive up to date lists of members to assist in completing the forms. The fancy dress theme chosen by YFC members in an online poll is Glow in the Dark. Scott Mills and Chris Stark from BBC Radio 1 have confirmed they will play the Saturday night at Annual Convention 2018.
