modest prom dresses under 100

There's some stuff going on with Bud Beer advertisements that use the phrase, "Dilly, dilly." People have been talking about this phrase. Well, there is a song that reached #3 on the Billboard Charts 1959 called "Lavender Blue (Dilly, Dilly) by Sammy Taylor. Here's the lyrics: modest prom dresses under 100
SAMMY TURNER'S
"Lavender-Blue (Dilly Dilly)"
(Larry Morey and Eliot Daniel)

Lavender blue
Dilly-dilly
Lavender green
If I were king
Dilly-dilly
I'd need a queen
Whoa-oh, who told me so
Dilly-dilly
Who told me so
I told myself
Dilly-dilly
I told me so
If your dilly-dilly heart
Feels a dilly-dilly way
If you'll answer yes
In a pretty little church
On a dilly-dilly day
You'll be wed in a dilly-dilly dress of
Lavender blue
Dilly-dilly
Lavender green
Then I'll be king
Dilly-dilly
You'll be my queen
Then I'll be king
Dilly-dilly
You'll be my queen
(Lavender blue, dilly-dilly)

But, the origin of the "Dilly, dilly" phrase comes from a 17th century English folk song and nursery rhyme (first transcribed by James Halliwell in 1849).

"Lavender's Blue" (sometimes called "Lavender Blue")

Lavender's blue, dilly dilly, lavender's green,
When I am king, dilly dilly, you shall be queen:
Who told you so, dilly dilly, who told you so?
'Twas mine own heart, dilly dilly, that told me so.
Call up your men, dilly dilly, set them to work,
Some with a rake, dilly dilly, some with a fork;
Some to make hay, dilly dilly, some to thresh corn,
Whilst you and I, dilly dilly, keep ourselves warm.
If you should die, dilly dilly, as it may hap,
You shall be buried, dilly dilly, under the tap;
Who told you so, dilly dilly, pray tell me why?
That you might drink, dilly dilly, when you are dry.

Couldn't find on YouTube the Sammy Turner recording, which is quite memorable. There are many recording of this song, going back to Burl Ives and Doris Day. Here is a simple cover:
